Mel’s Tea Room and a chance meeting

On my drive back to Halifax from Fredericton I stopped into Mel’s Tea Room to give them a signed copy of dePictions. I spent a lot of wasted time at Mel’s when I was at Mount Allison, the least I could do was give them a book to put on their counter. In dePictions there is a cartoon about Mel’s.

After leaving Mel’s I happened to stop over at the Bridge Street Cafe and ran into my old painting professor Virgil Hammock and Harold Jarche. We had a great conversation about art and politics.

Virgil has a great blog called Beauty & Art. [Link below]
